Trend Homobilis : Floating City Apps

The Floating City Apps are structures built from shipping containers that can be docked alongside waterfront slums. The first to be deployed was in Dhaka (Bangladesh), and was outfitted with 20 computer workstations. It is used as a classroom or local businesses office in the daytime, and as an Internet café in the evening.

The standard 20-foot containers are customized, with solar panels supplying the electricity, and 13.000 plastic bottles (collected by local children) to create pontoons that float the platform.

‽ With humans being more and more on the go, what about inventing similar initiatives, permanent or temporary, for grocery stores, health clinics or other essential establishments ? What if you raise your own branded container to sell directly to clients ?
